On the evening of August 22, 2024, the prestigious TTM Awards & Gala took place at the stunning Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi, spotlighting the exceptional achievements of the Maldives’ vibrant hospitality industry. This year’s event was marked by the introduction of four new award categories, broadening the scope to a total of 28 categories. These new additions—Editor’s Choice: Best Spas, Editor’s Choice: Best Restaurants, Editor’s Choice: Best Resort for Sports & Fitness, and TTM Top Producers – Airlines—highlight the diverse excellence and innovation that characterize the Maldives’ tourism sector.

Recognizing Top Producers and Airlines
In a significant move to recognize the contribution of travel partners, the TTM Top Producers included major global players such as Agoda, Booking.com, Emirates Holidays, and TUI Group. The newly introduced TTM Top Producers – Airlines category featured leaders like Aeroflot, Qatar Airways, and Singapore Airlines.
A Night of Celebration and Networking
The TTM Awards & Gala 2024 was not just about accolades; it was a grand celebration featuring a lavish dinner, live music, and abundant networking opportunities. The event brought together the crème de la crème of the travel trade industry, offering a platform for collaboration and exchange of ideas.
This gala was a part of the broader TTM Maldives, the largest travel trade show in the Maldives, held from August 21 to 22, 2024. The event attracted over 500 travel trade professionals and more than 100 hoteliers, facilitating over 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings, further cementing the Maldives’ position as a premier global travel destination.
