IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in the hospitality industry, is making a grand return to Serbia after two decades, unveiling plans to bring its prestigious InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand back to the country. This exciting development comes in partnership with Delta Holding, marking a significant milestone for both companies.

Set to open its doors by the close of 2026, the InterContinental Belgrade will offer a luxurious experience with 203 meticulously designed rooms. The accommodation will include 28 Premium Rooms, 15 Junior Suites, 2 Superior Suites, 2 Executive Suites, and an opulent Presidential Suite boasting panoramic city views, catering to the needs of discerning leisure and business travelers alike.

The hotel will stand out for its timeless architectural design and exceptional amenities. Guests can expect to be wowed by a stunning sky pool, an elegant rooftop restaurant and bar, and a spacious terrace featuring fine dining options. Additional facilities will include a state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, a grand ballroom, a sophisticated lobby lounge, a chic café, a patisserie, and versatile meeting spaces.

Strategically located in the newly developed ‘Delta District,’ the InterContinental Belgrade will be positioned at the heart of the city’s business and financial hub. It will offer seamless access to the newly renovated Sava Centar, the largest convention and exhibition space in the region, making it a prime destination for both business and leisure visitors.

Currently, IHG operates three properties in Serbia, all situated in the capital city: Hotel Indigo Belgrade, Crowne Plaza Belgrade, and Holiday Inn Belgrade. Additionally, two more Holiday Inn Express hotels are in the pipeline. With the addition of InterContinental Belgrade, IHG’s portfolio in the Balkans will expand to nearly 20 properties, spanning Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, and Northern Republic of Macedonia.

This return of the InterContinental brand to Serbia underscores IHG’s commitment to growth and excellence in the region. The new hotel will enhance the company’s presence in the Balkans, offering a new level of luxury and service to an increasingly vibrant market.

As the opening date approaches, anticipation is building for what promises to be a landmark addition to Belgrade’s hospitality scene. The InterContinental Belgrade is set to become a beacon of luxury, blending classic elegance with modern amenities in one of Europe’s most dynamic cities.
