Scoot expands its Southeast Asia network with new routes to Kertajati, Indonesia, and Malacca, Malaysia, enhancing travel options from Singapore starting in 2024.

Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), is set to expand its fleet with the addition of two new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft named Jalan-Jalan and Travel Kaki, arriving in September and October 2024. These aircraft will bolster Scoot’s operational capacity and pave the way for services to two new Southeast Asian destinations: Kertajati (Greater Bandung) in Indonesia and Malacca in Malaysia.

Starting September 28, 2024, Scoot will launch twice-weekly flights to Kertajati, with services scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays. On October 23, 2024, the airline will begin five-times weekly flights to Malacca, running on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays, and additional days from November.

The inaugural flight to Kertajati (TR292) will depart from Singapore at 3:45 PM and arrive at 4:50 PM, with the return flight (TR293) departing at 5:25 PM and reaching Singapore at 8:15 PM. From October 1, these flights will shift to earlier slots, departing Singapore at 5:00 AM and arriving at 6:05 AM, with the return flight at 6:40 AM, reaching Singapore by 9:40 AM.

Flights to Malacca (TR408) will start on October 23, departing Singapore at 2:00 PM and arriving in Malacca at 2:55 PM, with the return flight (TR409) leaving Malacca at 3:50 PM and landing in Singapore at 4:45 PM. From October 25, additional flights will operate twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays, with evening departures and returns.

These new routes strengthen Scoot’s network, offering greater connectivity and convenience for travelers in the region.
