2025 has been a year of adventure. From trekking with gorillas in Uganda and walking safaris in Kenya to hiking in Patagonia, cruising along Bangkok’s rivers, and enjoying meaningful time with family at home, 2025 offered a wide range of memorable moments.
As we look back, we’re reminded of how travel shapes us: it connects us more deeply with each other, broadens our perspectives, and sparks the gratitude that fuels our passion for creating meaningful journeys for our clients.
We’re grateful for another year of adventure and for the opportunity to continue exploring, learning, and sharing what we love most. Here’s to the memories that defined 2025 and the experiences still waiting in the year ahead!

On safari in Kenya. We saw heaps of elephants, zebras, hippos, various antelope, cheetahs, and one of the seven black leopards known to exist in the world during our stay at Suyian Lodge.

We enjoyed family time at Singita Sasakwa in Tanzania.

I’ve been talking about taking my family to Switzerland for years. I spent two formative years of my young adulthood obtaining my degree from a University there and got to show my family my old stomping grounds including this hostel where I used to spend many weekends. The best summer ever!

Visiting the stunning scenes of DeadVlei in Namibia was a bucket list item for me! Namibia is home to vast, unique landscapes – being here in April lived up to my (very) high expectations!
Jayme Madson

Up north doing what we do best: lake sunsets, cabin nights, and making the most of a beautiful Minnesota summer. Grateful for every minute.
Callie Robinson

While primate trekking in Uganda this June, we visited the Mukiza family in the Ruhija sector, which proved to be a difficult yet rewarding journey. There were many young gorillas climbing trees and playing with each other – even this 4-day old baby was spotted!

This year I got married, and my husband and I went hiking in Patagonia.
Joleen Soderberg

Quadbiking through the desert in Skeleton Coast National Park was a highlight of my trip to Namibia. We carved our own fresh tracks as we raced across one of the most remote landscapes on earth.

This photo was taken in Patagonia National Park in southern Chile, at the confluence of the Baker and Nef Rivers. The colors were so magical (and my camouflage was totally unplanned)!

In November this year, I was lucky enough to return to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, which is where I experienced my first safari six years ago. It was my husband’s first time in Botswana, and being able to experience this magical place with him is something I am forever grateful for. This was one of our favorite evenings of the trip – enjoying sundowners with our fantastic guide, O.P., from Duba Plains Camp!

In September of 2024, my husband Derek and I welcomed our son, Henry to the family. In Henry’s first year we kept adventures close to home. This photo is from a cabin weekend in northern Minnesota this summer. I’m looking forward to taking my first international trip since Henry was born in February to Tanzania.

This photo was taken on my recent trip to Bali, Indonesia, where I ventured to the far west of the island, where few tourists ever visit. There, I was treated to a concert (where I was also invited to be an active participant) by the JEGOG, West Bali’s iconic bamboo orchestra. Through the powerful rhythms of the instruments, I was able to connect in a very special way with the local artists and learn about the ancient heritage of this enchanting instrument. It was a very special moment and a unique experience I will always cherish.

On my first day in South Africa, I visited the lovely Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden in Cape Town. My guide, Claudia, told me all about the indigenous fauna, and we even tasted some! Spekboom is pretty bitter, but it’s high in vitamin C!
Nicole Cooper

Baby sea lions are a highlight on Santiago Island, along with many of the other islands in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. They’re ever so playful, curious and of course adorable. During daytime hours, they play in natural protected pools, coves and beaches while their mothers hunt for food.
Natalie Dmytrenko

Since my family is from England, I have been many times in my life, but this year I was able to discover portions of the country I hadn’t been to, such as the beautiful Lake District in the north, which almost reminded me of New Zealand with its landscapes. This photo was taken at the shores of Buttermere Lake after a lovely hike!

I’ve taken three trips to the Okavango Delta, yet this was my first sundowner in the Delta itself—floating among reeds, sipping cold drinks, and feeling fully part of the wild. Even after all this time, Botswana surprises me in the most unforgettable, safari-magic kind of way!
Elle Ervin

In June, I traveled to Uganda and quickly fell in love with the country’s people and wildlife. I had the incredible opportunity to trek in search of chimpanzees, gorillas, and golden monkeys—each experience bringing unforgettable, up-close encounters. On my final gorilla trek, we found ourselves just a few feet from the family’s silverback, watching in awe as the youngsters tumbled and played around him while he enjoyed his meal beneath the very tree we sat under.

Standing in the heart of the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand, wrapped in history, artistry, and the kind of beauty that humbles the soul. My recent trip to Southeast Asia is one I will never forget.
Jenny Falls

A perfect golden hour moment shared with an incredible group of colleagues, partners, and advisors in South Africa’s Thornybush Game Reserve—celebrating connection, conservation, and the wild beauty of safari.
Nicole Foels

There were no visits to Africa for me in 2025, but for good reason—we welcomed our little girl, Sadie, in August! Watching our son become such an attentive big brother has been so sweet to watch, and I look forward to all the adventures ahead for our new family of four.

In October, I went to South Africa and Botswana with my mom! It was a trip to celebrate a milestone birthday and her retirement. In this picture we are enjoying the views from Table Mountain on a very windy day!

Mornings with a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise and listening to the ocean in the Outer Banks of North Carolina is a great way to start the day.
Katie Hughes

During my time in Cape Town, we headed to the winelands to mountain bike in beautiful Stellenbosch. Breathtaking views, fabulous weather, great company, and e-assist that eased the work of biking just enough to make for a fabulous outing!
Erin Johnson

We made a big move from our house of 25 years. We are enjoying the sunset views from the deck of the new house we built on the foundation of our old cabin, and we’re so grateful for the calming waters we see every single day.
Amanda Kamel

Our honeymoon in Egypt was spectacular and filled with adventures! To name just a few; we visited my husband’s family, snorkeled the beautiful coral reefs of the Red Sea, and toured the new Grand Egyptian Museum. We can’t wait to go back!
Kati Knowland

This May, I embarked on my 11th African safari — this time in Kenya. While I’ll always revel in the showstopper sightings like lions and leopards, I’ve found just as much joy in noticing the smaller, more unusual creatures that make each journey feel new. One favorite from this trip was the vulturine guineafowl: a striking bird whose vivid blue plumage, framed by bold black-and-white stripes and spots, creates an unexpectedly dramatic flash of color in the bush. And with their endearingly out of place “old-man” hairstyles, they’re guaranteed to bring a smile.
Elle Kyllo

While on safari in South Africa this fall, we came across a playful baby elephant and watched as she stomped around trying to show off and act tough as her calm and unbothered mom grazed nearby. It was both hilarious and adorable!
Rose Loggi

This year I decided to expand my horizons outside of my usual comfort zone of Africa with a trip to Indonesia. We spent three glorious nights in Borneo to see orangutans, which are the only great apes found in Asia. We enjoyed many wonderful sightings, and my favorite one is this impressive and enormous male orangutan affectionately known as Roger.
Jenny Mikkelson

A highlight of 2025 was my recent trip to Southern Africa. Capturing this rainbow at Victoria Falls truly took my breath away and was one of those moments that made me grateful for where I’ve been and optimistic for all that 2026 will bring.
Katie Morris

This year, we welcomed our second son, Parker, into our family. It has been amazing seeing our two boys start to bond with each other.
Allie Muehlbauer

I started off my 2025 with an impromptu trip to Kenya where I visited a Rhino Sanctuary in the Maasai Mara and had the unforgettable experience of walking with the rhino. Walking so close to a rhino felt unreal, as if I were standing in the presence of something both powerful and heartbreakingly fragile. It was a moment that left me amazed, humbled, and deeply grateful to simply be there.
Alexis Noack

Taken on November 18th at Espinoza Point on Fernandina Island, Galapagos Islands, Ecuador. If you zoom in, you can see marine iguanas camouflaged in the lava rocks. Watch your step!

An unforgettable moment in the Jao Concession: an elephant helping himself to the pool at Tubu Tree Camp.
Lainie Overbeck

This past April, my husband Paul and I enjoyed a few days in Santorini following his work incentive trip to Athens, Greece. What a joy it was to return to one of my favorite places on earth and immerse ourselves in the food, views and culture of this Greek paradise.

Exploring the famous Torres Del Paine, Patagonia National Park in Chile!

In August, I traveled to Iceland, Greenland, and the Canadian High Arctic with Katie Gomer. From watching bowhead whales and polar bears (including a mother with her cubs!) to hiking for incredible views over Greenland’s fjords, we enjoyed every moment.
Maggie Telitz

The photo is of Sam and I on our trip to Bangkok in September 2025. We are cruising along the Chao Phraya River on a longtail boat enjoying the beautiful landscapes of Bangkok!
