NAITAS Kicks Off Sustainable Travel Movement: 10th NTEX Media Launch Unveils “Eco Pasko: Celebrating Green Tourism”

MANILA, Philippines – On November 22, 2025, the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS) marked the official countdown to its landmark 10th NAITAS Travel Expo (NTEX) at the stylish SAVEA Hotel in Bay City, Manila. The well-attended media event drew top travel agency executives, journalists, and stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the 2025 expo’s theme: “Eco Pasko: Celebrating Green Tourism.” This announcement paved the way for a focus on responsible, sustainable, and community-driven travel experiences throughout the Philippines, highlighting NAITAS’s commitment to supporting both the environment and local communities.

Unveiling a Decade of Purposeful Travel

Florence Rivera, President of NAITAS, opened the program with welcome remarks, highlighting the association’s commitment to advancing environmentally conscious practices within the industry.

Joseph Chua, Vice President of Internal Affairs at NAITAS, delivered a detailed overview of the 10th NTEX, emphasizing the expo’s unique commitment to eco-friendly travel packages, sustainable itineraries, and partnerships with operators dedicated to green certification.

One of the highlights was the address by Geraldine B. Gomez, General Manager of SAVEA Manila Bay, who represented the official partner for the media launch.
