My Top 14 Favorite Finds from the Likhang Habi Market Fair 2025

Initially, I had planned a trip to Hong Kong, but I decided to cancel it. Rather than feeling disappointed, I soon realized that missing out on Hong Kong was actually a fortunate turn of events. It allowed me to attend this year’s Likhang Habi Market Fair, where I met local and international artisans, explored beautifully crafted handmade items, and supported talented artisans. The market’s vibrant energy and unique finds made me grateful for my change of plans.

From October 10 to 12, 2025, the 15th Likhang HABI Market Fair transforms SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City into a lively hub of Filipino creativity. Organized by HABI: The Philippine Textile Council, the event converges weavers, artisans, designers, and weaving communities from across the Philippines to celebrate the artistry of native textiles and crafts. Attendees can browse vibrant handwoven fabrics, eco-friendly fashion, and unique artisan goods, all while engaging with those who make them.

More than a marketplace, the fair features inspiring talks, interactive workshops, exciting competitions, and dynamic cultural performances. These activities illuminate the skills, stories, and traditions behind Philippine weaving, encouraging stronger ties between artists and the public. Marking its 15th year, Likhang HABI continues to honor and elevate Filipino craftsmanship, championing the survival of indigenous weaving through education and community celebration.
